Associate Building Surveyor – Manchester
Salary: £70,000 – £80,000 (all-in package)

An established and forward-thinking building and project consultancy is seeking an Associate-level Building Surveyor to join their Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced professional looking to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality services to a well-established client base in the residential property sector.

The Role

You will act on behalf of residential block management companies, delivering a broad range of surveying and project management services. The work is varied and includes:

• Managing smaller works and maintenance projects

• Overseeing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes

• Leading on cladding remediation projects

• Preparing specifications and tender documentation

• Contract administration and stakeholder coordination

This role offers a strong blend of professional and project-based responsibilities, ideal for a surveyor who enjoys taking ownership of projects from inception through to completion.

Key Requirements

• MRICS qualified

• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE)

• Strong background in residential buildings, ideally with experience in leasehold block management or social housing

• Proven track record in delivering building surveying services alongside project management

• Excellent communication skills and client-facing manner

• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
