Our client is a UK market leader in their specialism, who have a rare opportunity to join their established Estates team. We are seeking interest for both an Estate Surveyor and a Senior Estates Surveyor positions, to take direct ownership for a significant predominantly leasehold property portfolio.

Responsibilities of a Estate/Senior Estates Surveyor

• Estate management of a varied leasehold property portfolio.
• Undertake periodic lease renewal and rent reviews.
• Liaise with company Solicitors on Lease clauses and associated Legal, matters.
• Draft internal. fitouts/layouts with external contractors and associated trades.
• Approve rents/service charge /building insurance costs prior to payment.
• Maintain the company property database ensuring property data is up to date.
• Source properties for new locations and proposed relocations agreeing Heads of Terms
• to company requirements.
• Dispose of vacant properties through natural lease expiry /assignment /sub lease
• options.
• Manage building repairs and maintenance works

 The Person

Hold an RICS ( Royal, institution of Chartered Surveyors) accredited degree and ideally a qualified RICS member.

Existing lease advisory, asset management or estates experience, would be advantageous.

Hold a full clean driving licence to enable UK wide travel to visit individual locations as and when required.

Liaise with other departments to include Finance, lnternaI Audit and Heath and Safety.

The successful Applicants will be required to demonstrate some detailed experience of estates issues, principle including rent review/lease renewal and property management, further experience will be gained acquisition and disposals, business rates, alterations and dilapidations, green lease issues.
