Commercial Property Surveyor – Receivership, Recoveries & Asset Advisory

Surveyor to Director Level | Manchester | Hybrid Working

We're working with a highly respected and growing national property consultancy looking to strengthen its specialist Asset Advisory, Receivership & Recoveries team in Manchester.

With an established national client base and an excellent reputation for advising lenders, insolvency practitioners and corporate clients, the business is seeking commercially minded surveyors with some existing exposure to receivership, recovery or restructuring-related property instructions.

We are interested in speaking with surveyors at all levels, from those who have gained experience assisting on receivership and recovery instructions through to established specialists looking for their next career move.

The Opportunity

Joining an experienced national team, you'll work on a diverse range of commercial property assets, providing strategic advice and practical solutions across restructuring, recovery and insolvency situations.

Responsibilities will include:

• Advising on property receivership, restructuring and recovery instructions
• Supporting lenders, insolvency practitioners and other stakeholders with property-related advice
• Developing asset management, leasing and disposal strategies for distressed assets
• Undertaking property assessments, valuations and strategic asset reviews
• Identifying opportunities to protect and maximise asset values
• Working collaboratively with national colleagues across valuation, agency, asset management and professional advisory services

Who Are We Looking For?

We're particularly keen to speak with surveyors who have some practical experience of receivership or recovery instructions, whether this forms a small part of their current role or is already their principal area of expertise.

You may currently be working within:

• Receivership, recoveries or restructuring advisory
• Commercial valuation, including secured lending and distressed assets
• Commercial property asset management
• Commercial agency or investment advisory with exposure to recovery instructions
• Specialist insolvency-related property advisory

MRICS qualification is preferred, although candidates with relevant specialist experience will also be considered.
