About the Client: Our client, a leading global real estate services firm, is seeking a recently MRICS-qualified Valuation Surveyor to join its Affordable Housing team, part of the UK Residential Value and Risk Advisory division. Specializing in affordable housing valuations, the team provides expert advice to housing associations, investors, lenders, and public sector bodies. With a strong reputation for delivering accurate and insightful valuations, the company is committed to supporting sustainable and affordable housing solutions across the UK.

Job Overview: This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and dedicated Valuation Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting valuations on affordable housing assets, preparing detailed valuation reports, and providing expert advice to clients. This role offers excellent career progression within a market-leading team working on high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct valuations of affordable housing assets, including shared ownership, social housing, and build-to-rent schemes.

· Prepare high-quality valuation reports in accordance with RICS Red Book standards.

· Undertake market research and analysis to support accurate property assessments.

· Liaise with housing associations, investors, lenders, and public sector clients to provide valuation insights and recommendations.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of affordable housing markets, valuation methodologies, and industry regulations.

· Ensure compliance with professional and ethical standards set by RICS.

· Support senior surveyors and directors in business development activities.

Skills & Qualifications:

· MRICS qualification (newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply).

· Experience in property valuation, preferably within affordable housing or residential sectors.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

· Proficiency in valuation software and Microsoft Office Suite.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

· Full UK driving license (if applicable).
