Graduate Surveyor (with experience)

Manchester, £30,000–£35,000 plus bens

Overview: Our client, a leading property development and regeneration company based in Manchester, is seeking a motivated and ambitious Graduate Surveyor with at least one year's work experience to join their dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive experience across the entire development process, with full APC (Assessment of Professional Competence) training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Development and Project Teams: Collaborate closely with both development and project teams on a variety of regeneration projects across the UK, primarily focused on commercially led developments with some residential components.
  • Project Management: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
  • Site Inspections and Surveys: Conduct site inspections and surveys, preparing reports and documentation to support project planning and execution.
  • Feasibility Studies: Assist in the preparation of feasibility studies, including financial appraisals, market research, and risk assessments.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Engage with various stakeholders, including contractors, architects, and local authorities, to facilitate project progress and resolve issues.
  • APC Training: Participate in a structured APC training program, gaining experience across all relevant competencies to support your journey to becoming a chartered surveyor.

Qualifications:

  • A property-related degree in Real Estate, Building Surveying, or Quantity Surveying.
  • A minimum of one year’s work experience in a relevant field, ideally within property development or surveying.
