Spencelooker Recruitment is delighted to be working on a retained basis with a highly successful and entrepreneurial property investment and asset management business, seeking to appoint a Senior Asset Manager to join their Preston-based team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced commercial property professional to take a leading role in driving performance and value across a substantial UK-wide portfolio of office, industrial and retail assets.

The Role

Reporting into COO, you will be responsible for implementing proactive asset management strategies focused on enhancing income, maximising capital value, and identifying development and value-add opportunities across the portfolio.

This is a commercially focused role suited to an ambitious and strategic surveyor who enjoys identifying opportunities, driving initiatives forward, and taking ownership of complex assets and land opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive asset management initiatives across a diverse commercial portfolio
• Lead lease negotiations, renewals, rent reviews, regears and restructures
• Identify and unlock opportunities for capital and rental growth
• Explore and appraise development opportunities across land and existing assets
• Develop creative asset strategies to enhance value and income performance
• Work closely with external agents, consultants and professional teams
• Undertake market analysis and portfolio reviews to support investment decisions
• Build strong occupier and stakeholder relationships across the portfolio
• Support acquisitions, disposals and wider strategic property initiatives

About You

• Proven commercial property asset management experience across office, industrial and retail assets
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify value-add opportunities
• Experience dealing with landlord & tenant matters and wider asset strategies
• Development, land or repositioning experience would be highly advantageous
• MRICS qualified ideally, although this is not essential
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive and hands-on approach
