They are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Professional / Lease Advisory Surveyor to join the team in Chester.
Job Summary: As a Professional / Lease Advisory Surveyor, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice on rent reviews, lease renewals, and tactical asset management including lease re-gears, restructuring, and other related consultancy assignments. You will support the existing team while also leading efforts to secure new business and deliver superior client service to help our clients achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct rent reviews, lease renewals, and provide tactical asset management advice.
- Lead and support the team in securing new business opportunities and delivering client-centric solutions.
- Enhance and develop internal networks and support the team's profile in the market.
- Collaborate effectively to generate new instructions, pool expertise within the team, and identify potential cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain and build relationships with clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored advice.
- Act as a lead client contact, conducting pitches and presentations with confidence.
- Provide high-quality business and report writing.
Qualifications:
- Degree-level qualification.
- MRICS qualification with professional body membership.
Core Knowledge & Experience:
- Demonstrable experience in leading projects and delivering seamless client service.
- Proven ability to manage client instructions and responsibilities effectively.
- Strong business development and client relationship management skills, with a clear understanding of client needs.
- Extensive experience in networking and building relationships both internally and externally.
- Successful track record in selling services to clients.
- Experience as a lead client contact, conducting pitches and presentations.
- High technical competence in rent reviews and lease renewals.
- In-depth knowledge of the real estate sector, particularly within Chester and surrounding areas.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.
- Excellent business and report writing skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current legislation and case law relevant to the role.
- Proficient in IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet research.
- Familiarity with industry-specific IT packages (e.g., Circle, Developer, Grail).
