Due to continued growth, Hallams Commercial is seeking an ambitious Property Management Surveyor to join their expanding team. The role offers exposure to a diverse commercial portfolio, including offices, mixed-use schemes, retail, and industrial assets, working closely with experienced partners and senior surveyors.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own portfolio of commercial property assets across the UK
• Day-to-day management of the portfolio, including income collection and client reporting
• Full service charge management on multi-let properties across varying asset classes, including:
  • Budget setting
  • Income and expenditure cashflow analysis
  • Service charge reconciliations
• Undertaking regular property inspections and preparing detailed reports
• Ensuring the property management database is accurate and kept up to date at all times
• Working collaboratively with the wider team to manage clients’ professional advisors, ensuring best performance and value for money
• Providing strategic asset management support, including responsibility for all professional work across the portfolio such as:
  • Lease renewals
  • Rent reviews
  • Lease re-gears

Candidate Requirements

• MRICS desirable not essential.
• Strong client relationship management and customer service focus
• Good working knowledge of legislation relating to commercial property management
• Confident and professional, with a minimum of 1 year’s property management experience
