Lancashire, £30,000–£50,000 plus performance bonus, pension and a good holiday allowance

Company Description

Our client is a niche, North West Quantity Surveying Firm based in Lancashire, specialising in Quantity Surveying and Employer’s Agent services across a wide variety of sectors, including commercial, industrial, residential, leisure and infrastructure. They have already built a robust pipeline of projects and are poised for expansion.

Job Summary

They require a dynamic Quantity Surveyor to join our team and play a key role in thrie continued growth and success. Roles are available at Graduate, Assistant and Project level.

As a pivotal member of our team, you will be responsible for assisting with project delivery and contributing to our overall success, along with supporting with the growth of the business and reporting to the Managing Director.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans.
  • Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimise project costs.
  • Taking a proactive approach to delivery, including tender management and analysis, contract preparation, financial reporting and change control.
  • Actively seek out new business opportunities and contribute to business development efforts,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying.
  • MRICS or working towards MRICS preferable.

Skills

  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software and tools, such as CostX, CATO, Bluebeam, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
