Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced MRICS qualified Valuation Surveyor to join our RICS Registered Valuation Services department. This role is ideal for individuals at the Surveyor or Senior Surveyor level who are looking to advance their career in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Valuation Services:
- Conduct valuations for a wide range of property types, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
- Prepare detailed and accurate valuation reports in compliance with RICS standards and client requirements.
- Undertake market research and data analysis to support valuation conclusions.
- Client Relations:
- Maintain and develop client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Provide professional advice and consultancy services to clients regarding property valuations.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure all valuation activities comply with RICS regulations and guidelines.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and legislative changes affecting property valuations.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with other team members to share knowledge and support the delivery of high-quality services.
- Assist in the training and mentoring of junior staff as required.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- MRICS Qualification:
- Must be fully qualified as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
- Experience:
- Proven experience in property valuation, preferably within a professional services firm.
- Experience in valuing a diverse range of property types.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proficient in using valuation software and tools.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Personal Attributes:
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
